Za’atar Chicken Thighs and an Amazing Kol Foods Giveaway

Za'atar Chicken Thighs

It is summer and that means grilling season! This za’atar chicken is one of my favorite grilled chicken reicpes. Moist, juicy, and full of flavor, I make a batch of this almost every time I fire up the grill. The chicken thighs stay nice and moist and the marinade gives it a nice punch of flavor. It is great cold the next day over a salad and reheats well without drying out.

The secret to really amazing grilled chicken is to start with really amazing chicken, which is only one of the reasons I use Kol Foods meats. For almost five years my family has only purchased Kol Foods pasture raised meat and poultry and it is amazing what a difference it makes both in terms of health and taste.

I am so excited to be able to partner with KOL Foods in bringing you this amazing giveaway and sharing one of my favorite recipes using their high quality meat. I am joining with a bunch of other talented bloggers in bringing you summer recipes for your grill. But even better than the recipes is the amazing opportunity to win a giveaway of a summer BBQ chicken sampler.

Enter the contest for a chance to win this great chicken sampler.

Instructions

Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, and za'atar in a gallon size sealable plastic bag. Squeeze the bag to combine the ingredients well. Add the chicken and seal well. Squeeze the bag to distribute the marinade evenly on the chicken. Marinate for one hour, squishing the bag occasionally to make sure it is marinating evenly.

Heat a gas or charcoal grill to medium hot. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until well seared, then turn the chicken and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165.

Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
